Basil Chicken WrapsI confess; I am friends with Taste Of Home on Facebook, and was intrigued when they posted a California-style wrap recipe recently. I’m not sure why I couldn’t think of making wraps for lunch on my own, :roll: but I’m glad for the inspiration all the same.

With plenty of basil and served with fruit juice and Sun Chips, this quick lunch sure hit the spot on a hot July day. Seriously, who can say no to the “king of herbs”?

Ingredients:

  • 2 whole-wheat tortillas
  • 1/4 cup chicken breast, cooked and cubed
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, cooked and cubed
  • 1/4 cup pepper jack cheese, cubed
  • 5 fresh basil leaves, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. lime basil or lime vinaigrette dressing
