I confess; I am friends with Taste Of Home on Facebook, and was intrigued when they posted a California-style wrap recipe recently. I’m not sure why I couldn’t think of making wraps for lunch on my own,
but I’m glad for the inspiration all the same.
With plenty of basil and served with fruit juice and Sun Chips, this quick lunch sure hit the spot on a hot July day. Seriously, who can say no to the “king of herbs”?
Ingredients:
- 2 whole-wheat tortillas
- 1/4 cup chicken breast, cooked and cubed
- 1/4 cup bell pepper, cooked and cubed
- 1/4 cup pepper jack cheese, cubed
- 5 fresh basil leaves, sliced
- 2 Tbsp. lime basil or lime vinaigrette dressing
